Kennesaw State University's Student Government Association is dedicated to the students on campus. One of the best ways for you to help us with furthering our support for students is to join Student Government! We accept applications for both senator and aides positions. Before you apply, please familiarize yourself with the job description for each position by reading our constitution and PPM by visiting the documents page. A breif outline of the job requirements is below.
If you are interested in an executive position, please speak to President Street or Vice-President Robinson about the requirements. You may download the application by visiting the documents page as well.

Requirements for Senate seat:
- Have earned and received credit at KSU for a minimum of twelve (12) semester hours if an undergraduate student, or nine (9) if a graduate student*
- Have a minimum adjusted GPA of 2.5 if an undergraduate student, or 3.0 if a graduate student
- Are and will, throughout the semester, be enrolled in a minimum of twelve (12) semester hours if an undergraduate student, or nine (9) if a graduate student
- Have attended at least two SGA General Session meetings
*This rule is exempt for candidates applying for the Freshman Senator seat
The senate position is one of the best ways you can serve your fellow students; by being a senator, you represent them and their interests on campus! Senators are reimbursed 25% of their tuition per semester in compensation for their work.

Requirements for Aide:
- Be willing to perform work for Student Government while forgoeing a stipend
- Be willing to learn and ask questions
- Be willing to be mentored by a fellow senator
The aide position is a great way for anybody new to Student Government to learn what we as an organization do and provide. You will learn from your fellow senators throughout the semester. At any time while you are an aide, you may apply for any open senate seat you are eligible to apply for, as long as you meet the stated requirements.
